Finally, our church family strives to be a caring community.  We share God’s concern for those in need and are committed to Christ’s challenge to become servants with a heart for reaching out.  “ Missions ” is our way of becoming “the hands and feet of Jesus” for those who are in desperate need of physical, emotional, or spiritual attention.  Many of our “ programs ” are designed in a way that shares God’s message of reconciliation and love to a broken world.  We do so, solely relying on God’s Spirit to heal and transform lives.

Please feel free to come join us.  We look forward to meeting you and wish you all the benefits of God’s blessings!

In Christ,

- Rev. David F. Rockness
Rev. David F. Rockness “Heart-felt worship, relevant teaching, joyful fellowship and compassionate care for those in need so the world might be encouraged in the Good News…one life at a time.” Welcome!  I hope the above is helpful in conveying the spirit of who we are as a Christ-centered community.  Our family is far from perfect, yet we seek to make a difference through dependence on our Lord Jesus Christ.  Please know that you are invited to join us for worship on Sunday mornings.  Our purpose in worship is to encounter the living God of Scripture in a personal and dynamic way.  Our God welcomes you to engage and accepts you along with any personal baggage, questions, doubts, insecurities, and burdens that might be weighing you down.   Our teaching strives to be relevant to the world that we live in.  Our Lord has revealed many truths in His Word intended to help and guide us in our every day lives.  He desires the very best for us!  A biblically-based sermon is provided in our worship service each Sunday morning as well as a Sunday school program to provide “nurture” for our children.  Our church offers additional Bible studies and ministries during the week that can be helpful in gaining further insight and providing a forum for questions and discussion.  You can check out these opportunities under “ Programs ”. Joyful fellowship helps express our desire to develop closer bonds within our local church family and broader community.  Our “ Events ” page will help communicate such things as the “ Fall Festival ”, “Easter Egg Hunt”, “Rebuilding Together”, family picnics, retreats, and ecumenical events.  Please feel free to contact our church office if you would like to know more about a specific event or have any questions.
